Kirk Hopper Fine Art is pleased to announce Urban Nature, a collaborative exhibition featuring the work of artists Soner and Patricia Rodriguez. Urban Nature is a joint exploration in painting with both artists using graffiti elements and spray paint to bring artwork that is usually found outdoors into an interior space. Graffiti happens outside in the urban sprawl of a city where forces of nature can affect it. For this exhibition, Soner and Rodriguez have utilized organic elements and fluid design to pay homage to nature in their works.

Graffiti artist Soner is known for his large-scale murals that are typically marked by fantastic backgrounds and highly saturated colors reminiscent of outer space landscapes. His public murals are in cities such as Dallas, Austin, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, New York City, and Tijuana, among others. Guest artist Patricia Rodriguez brings a partially traditional, partially street graphic approach to her work. She begins by spray painting her canvases before traditionally hand painting botanical and organic forms onto them.
