Kirk Hopper Fine Art is pleased to present Verdiano Marzi & Cohorts | Mosaic Adventures, featuring an array of mosaic works curated by Jaime Weisbrod. The show opens on January 14, 2017 and runs through February 11, with a public reception from 6:00-8:00 pm, Saturday, January 14.

Since the 3rd millennium BC, society has shared a storied love affair with mosaics. From ancient Greece, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, mosaics have played an integral role in our greatest civilizations. Today, through intense color and distinctive patterns, modern mosaics continue to push conventional notions of mosaic art. Verdiano Marzi & Cohorts | Mosaic Adventures aims to push these traditional boundaries with an eclectic assortment of mosaics made by contemporary artists.
